As my first blog series, I will conduct a strategic audit of Beyond Meat, a plant-based meat company that has taken the international market by storm. I thought this company would serve well as a subject for my first strategic audit given that it is a well known, publicly traded company within the alternative protein sphere.

1. The first blog post will introduce Beyond Meat and the market in which it operates.
2. The second blog post will focus in on Beyond Meat’s position within this market (inputs, competition, distribution, pushback).
3. The third blog post will discuss Beyond Beat’s key capabilities as a plant-based firm that accounts for its success.
4. The fourth and final blog post in the series will entail a strategy proposal to improve Beyond Meat’s performance, based on the strategic audit outlined in post 1, 2, and 3.
